Changing the Fuel Filter
Service Interval: Every 400 hours—Replace the fuel filter.
1. Drain the water from the water separator; refer to
Draining the Fuel Filter/Water Separator (page
2. Clean the area where the filter mounts
3. Remove the filter and clean the mounting surface.
4. Lubricate the gasket on the filter with clean oil.
5. Install the filter by hand until the gasket contacts
mounting surface, then rotate it an additional 1/2 turn.
6. Tighten the drain plug on the bottom of the filter
canister.
