Configure IPv6

IPv6 is supported only on VLAN interfaces, not on physical ports.
From the Routing > IPv6 > Advanced menu, you can access pages that are described in
the following sections:

Configure IPv6 Global Settings

• Add a Static IPv6 Route
• View the IPv6 Route Table
• Configure IPv6 VLAN Interface Settings
• Add an IPv6 Global Address to an IPv6 VLAN
• Add an IPv6 Prefix for Advertisement on an IPv6 VLAN
• View IPv6 Statistics for an Interface
• View or Clear the IPv6 Neighbor Table
Configure IPv6 Global Settings
You can configure IPv6 routing parameters for the switch, as opposed to for an interface.

To configure IPv6 global settings:
1. Connect your computer to the same network as the switch.
You can use a WiFi or wired connection to connect your computer to the network, or
connect directly to a switch that is off-network using an Ethernet cable.
2. Launch a web browser.
3. In the address field of your web browser, enter the IP address of the switch.
If you do not know the IP address of the switch, see
Switch on page 10.
The login window opens.
4. Enter the switch's password in the Password field.
The default password is password.
The System Information page displays.
5. Select Routing> IPv6 > Basic > Global Configuration.
