Programs Menu

Enable or Disable Alarm Output

Alarm Output allows the alarm to activate a digital output as an action. For example, this digital
output could be linked to an electrical device, i.e. a security light or siren.
Procedure 5-7 Enable/Disable Alarm Output
Step Action
Select Alarm from the Programs menu.

The Alarm Summary tab displays.
Select the Output check box to enable alarm output.

Or
Deselect the Output check box to disable alarm output.

Editing an Alarm

Modify the details of an existing alarm.
Procedure 5-8 Edit an Alarm
Step Action
Select Alarm from the Programs menu.

The Alarm Summary tab displays.
Select the numbered tab (1-4) of the alarm to edit.

Make the necessary adjustments to the alarm settings, the following can be edited:

• Name
• Action
• Action Parameter
• Audio Playback
• Email
• FTP
Select Apply to save the alarm settings.

View Active Alarms

Display a list of active alarms on the dome.
