Mantel Requirements

¥ The optional mantel must be a min. 24" above the top of the faceplate.

Hearth Requirements

¥ The hearth must extend 16" in
front of the faceplate. It must
also match the width of the
faceplate (36" wide, centered on
the fireplace).
¥ The hearth must be made of a
non-combustible material at
least 3/8" thick (it must not raise
more than 7/8" above the base of
the fireplace).

NOTE:
The set-up face is 1/16" larger in
each dimension (sides, and height)
than the finish face. This allows for
expansion during operation.
Do not tuck tile underneath the faceplate on
the bottom (there will be a 1/2" air space
below the access door). You may do this
on the sides and top, but not on the bottom.
