INALIZING THE
3 Install the burner pan following the instructions below:
a Install a manual shutoff valve and the included 10" flex tube to the gas line. The illustration
below details the location of the gas valve Ð make sure the gas line is correctly located to
allow hookup of the flex line to the gas control valve.
The 1" diameter access hole is located 1-7/8" above the base of the fireplace. Cut
an "X" in the gasket covering the inlet and insert the gas line through the gasket.

b Remove the burner pan from the packaging, place it upside down, and remove the boxing
brackets (they may be discarded).
Natural gas burner pans have
a blue mark here. Propane
burner pans have a red mark.
