6 CONTROLS
6.1J BLOCKED HYDRAULIC FILTER
INDICATOR LAMP.
Monitors Hydraulic filter condition. Coloured red,
Illuminates prior to filter bypass valve operating,
when illuminated filter requires changing. The red
lens should illuminate while the engine is
preheating as a test. It is not unusual for the lamp
to stay alight for up to 3 minutes after a very cold
start. But should not stay on for longer than 5
minutes during operation.
6.1K JOYSTICK UNIT LIFT / LOWER / SLEW
CONTROL
The joystick can be operated in 2 directions (single
Axis) A, B when using a rotary cutter deck and in 4
direction (double Axis) A, B, C, D when using a
rotary brush or snow blade.
A One touch lowers the lift arms.
B Raise the lift arms.
(Needs to be held at position B for lifting arms
into transport position).
C Used to slew the rotary brush or snow blade
in a clockwise direction.
D Used to slew the rotary brush or snow blade
in an anticlockwise direction.
6.1L WEIGHT TRANSFER SWITCH
The switch is blue and will transfer weight
hydraulically between the drive wheels and the
cutter deck.
It is possible to adjust the amount of weight
transfer manually on the lift valve. See section 9.2.
6.1M CUTTERS RUNNING INDICATOR LAMP
Colour Orange, illuminated when the cutter blades
are stalling. If the lamp illuminates it indicates the
cutter blades have stalled. If this happens the for-
ward speed of the machine should be reduced until
the lamp goes out
The light will not go off if the blades are jammed; if
this occurs the obstruction must be removed with the
engines switched off.
