3) Remove the seven screws that fixing the rear cabinet upper.
4) Remove the rear cabinet upper.
E. Installation of DOCC PWB
1) Disconnect the 12-pin and 15-pin connectors connected to the
Mother PWB.
2) Remove two screws for fixing the DOCC PWB.
3) Connect the connector of the DOCC PWB (Package part No.
1) to 30-pin connector on the mother PWB.
4) Fix the DOCC PWB with two screws that have been removed
in step 2) and bundled two screws (Package part No. 5).
5) Connect the 12-pin and 15-pin connectors of the main unit to
the connectors on the DOCC PWB.
6) Ensure that pins 1 and 2 of the DIP switch on the DOCC PWB
are OFF.
* The switch must be up. (Refer to the illustration)
F. Installation of the rear cabinet upper
1) Install the fold section of upper side on the rear cabinet upper
to the main unit.
2) Secure it with the seven screws that have been removed in
step D-3).
* If the fax box unit is installed, carry out the steps 3) and 4)
3) Hang the fax box unit that has been removed in step D on the
step screw.
4) Fix with a screw that have been removed.
G. Installation of the control box
1) Insert the control box until the connectable position for HDD-
IDE cable, connect the HDD-IDE cable.
2) Insert the control box until the position that fix the HDD-IDE
cable to the clamp, put the HDD-IDE cable to the sheet (A),
and fix it to the clamp.
* Check that the HDD-IDE cable is not twisting, hanging
MX-7000N MX-FRX3, MX-FRX3U 9 – 3
additionally.
