GAS VALVE ADJUSTMENT

If the boiler installation contains more than 1 module, each boiler module will be fitted with individual
gas valves, all gas valves must be adjusted independently.
Note: The procedure for each boiler module will be the same, the flue gas analyser must be connected to each
boiler flue prior to its' connection into any common flue header.
Maximum rate adjustment (Throttle)
1. Switch the boiler on and operate for 5 minutes.
2. Set the module to maximum output.
3. Connect a suitable flue analyser to the flue sampling point of the boiler.
4. Using the maximum rate adjustment screw, adjust the master module gas valve, if necessary,
until the CO
Minimum rate adjustment (Offset)
5. Set the module to minimum output.
6. Connect a suitable flue analyser to the flue sampling point of the boiler.
7. Remove the protective cap and then using the offset adjustment screw, adjust the valve on the
boiler until the CO
Note: The offset adjustment is more sensitive than the throttle adjustment.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The CO measurement when the CO
circumstances should the CO/CO
Adjust in steps of no more than 1/8 turn and wait 1 minute after each adjustment to allow setting to
stabilise.
8. Re-check the CO
