Connection Diagrams

The following system diagrams illustrate typical hardware connections to the CU 5905 Central Unit. Actual installations
may use different combinations of hardware, but follow the general concepts outlined below.
Note: Flushmount and portable discussion units are interchangeable in the following drawings.
Basic Setup with Discussion Units
The system is operational without the use of a computer. Use the CU navigation screen to set up the installation.
Note: This setup does not support the Manual microphone mode, since a computer is required for turning
microphones on and off.
Computer for Advanced Management
Connect a computer to the central unit for comprehensive management of the system through a web browser. Connect an
