13 Trouble-shooting guide
Fault
Various channels are not shown in the
channel list
Sound OK, no TV picture
Channels such as DSF and Tele 5
blocked at times
Set cannot be operated
Remote control not working
The picture sometimes shows
rectangular blocks. Picture sometimes
goes to freeze frame, no sound.
Picture sometimes black with "no
signal" displayed.
No picture, no sound, display lit
No picture, no sound, display not lit up
No reception of channels that used to
be OK
Antenna cannot be turned
In Standby Mode the time is not
displayed
Possible Cause
Wrong channel list selected
Radio mode switched on
Interference from "DECT telephones"
(cordless telephones)
Defective data stream —> unit blocked Remove mains plug for approx. 5

Remedy
Select a different channel list (see
Point 7.2.3.1)
Switch to TV mode
Increase distance between receiver
station and receiver
seconds, then plug back in
Replace batteries

*Switch unit off, rectify short circuit,
re-start unit
*Check all cable connections
