11 Troubleshooting guide

Problem
Various programmes not shown in
programme list
Sound OK, no TV picture
Receiver cannot be operated
Remote control not working
Time not displayed in stand-by
mode
No picture, no sound, display not on No mains power
No reception of programmes

Receiver cannot be switched on or
cannot be operated

Incorrect programme list selected
Radio mode selected
Defective data stream -->receiver
blocked
Batteries are spent
Incorrect remote control option

Programme now transmitted on

transmitted

Solution
Select another programme list
(see Point 7.2.3.1)
Switch to TV mode
Disconnect mains plug for approx.
5 secs., then reconnect receiver
Change batteries
Change remote control option
(see Point 2 and 6.2.3)
Switch to e.g. ZDF for 30 seconds
Check mains cable and plug
Perform scan (see Point 8.4)
None
Perform Flash Reset: Note!
All personal settings will be lost.
> Disconnect mains plug.
> Simultaneously press program-
me up/down key on receiver
and keep pressed down.
> While programme up/down key
is pressed, reconnect mains
plug.
> Keep keys pressed down for
approx. 5 secs. until message
* "FLAS" appears.
