Remove the pump gear.
•
Separate the components to inspect
them.
Inspection
•
Measure distance between rotors with
a feeler gauge at the positions shown
in the picture.
Characteristic
Oil intake rotor
Thickness: 13.5 mm (0.53 in)
Oil supply rotor
Thickness: 8.5 mm (0.33 in)
Standard values
Radial clearance (1) between points of the rotor:
0.04 mm (0.0015 in)
Radial clearance (2) between points of the rotor: 0.08 mm
(0.003 in)
Radial clearance (3) between rotor 1 and the pump body: 0.04
mm (0.0015 in)
Radial clearance (3) between rotor 2 and the pump body: 0.05
mm (0.0019 in)
