Printer Driver Properties

The Printer Driver for the Hasler HJ950C works the same as any other Printer Driver for Windows. It does
have some enhancements to help you maximize the ability of the printer to print variable addressed pieces
quickly and efficiently.
Windows XP, Vista: Once the job is set up, click File,
then Print. The window on the right will open. Make
sure the M Series Driver is the selected Printer. Clicking
on Properties opens the "Properties" window.
Windows 7: Once the job is set up, click Office Button,
then Print. Make sure the M Series Driver is the selected
Printer. The window on the right will open. Clicking on
Properties opens the "Properties" window.
General Tab
The General tab provides the following features:
Orientation – Portrait (Default), Landscape,
Rotate 180° and Mirrored.
Page Buffering – If you select the Page Buffer
box, the entire print job will be rendered before
printing starts; to ensure uninterrupted
printing.
Copies – Lets you choose the number of
copies to print.
Reverse Order – By default this box is selected
so the job starts printing from the last page.
The entire job will be queued before printing
starts. Large jobs may take some time to finish
being queued before they start printing.
Un-checking this box prints the job starting
with the first page.
Collate – When collate is selected and copies
is set to two or more; the printer will print all
pages of the document in their proper sequence, before printing the next copy. When collate is not
selected; the individual copies, of each page of the document, are printed in groups.
Media
Type – Provides selections for many different media types (Default, Photo Paper Matte, Plain
Paper, etc). A corresponding color profile is used for each media type to improve color accuracy
for a given paper type.
Size – Select for the given media that you are using. If the size is not present use Custom Sizes.
In some programs (i.e. Adobe Acrobat®) this feature also allows you to choose a different size
paper than the document was originally designed for, and the document image is automatically
resized to fit the new media.
Custom Sizes – This button allows custom media sizes to be designed and saved.
Note: When designing a custom size; do not exceed the printer's maximum print width (8.5").
Custom sizes can only be created for locally-attached printers.
