11. USING THE FUNCTION CLEAR
When you want to clear the copy modes after a copy run has finished, press the FUNCTION
CLEAR
key. The copy mode settings will return to their default status. The following modes
will be selected in the default status:
G Copy quantity "1"
G Reproduction ratio "100%"
G Automatic exposure
G Automatic paper selection (APS)
G Copy size "A4"
G Stack-feed mode
G Non-sort mode (if an optional sorter is installed)
Using the FUNCTION CLEAR

Press the FUNCTION CLEAR
G The display panel returns to the default
status.
Note: The copier will return to the default
status after 45 seconds even if the
FUNCTION CLEAR
Note: When you have finished copying in a
non-default mode, the FUNCTION CLEAR
key lamp flashes alerting you that the
copier is not in the default status.
This status will be cleared if one of the
following actions occurs:
G The FUNCTION CLEAR
pressed;
G About 45 seconds elapses after copying;
G Any key is pressed in the next copying
operation.
