2. 2 in 1 MODE COPYING

When you set A4 sized originals on the original feed tray and select the 2 in 1 function in the EDIT
menu, the copier goes into the 2 in 1 mode, feeding in the originals two at a time and causing
them to be copied onto a single sheet of paper.
There are three kinds of modes available if you select APS, AMS or a reproduction ratio in
conjunction with the 2 in 1 mode, as described below:
G AMS/2 in 1 mode — With the AMS lamp on (this is the default mode), two A4 (or B5) sized
originals will be copied onto a single sheet of A4 (or B5) sized paper.
G APS/2 in 1 mode — When the APS lamp is turned on, two A4 (or B5) sized originals will be
copied onto a single sheet of A3 (or B4) sized paper.
G Reproduction-ratio selectable 2 in 1 mode — When both APS and AMS lamps are turned
off, two originals will be copied onto a single sheet of A4 (or B5) sized paper at the reproduction
ratio selected.
If you select the Duplex 2 in 1 mode, four originals will be copied onto both sides of a single sheet
of paper.
