DESCRIPTION OF THE COPIER
KEY COPY COUNTER
This symbol flashes when the optional key
copy counter is not inserted in the copier.
Insert it to make copies. (
ORIGINAL DIRECTION
Either of these symbols is lit according to the
direction of the paper in the selected cassette.
When placing originals on the glass or on the
original feed tray (optional), do so according
to the direction shown.
ADD PAPER symbol
This symbol flashes when the paper supply in
the optional large-capacity feeder runs out.

CASSETTE key
When the cassette selected is not the desired
size, press this key to select the cassette you
want. You can also press the desired casette
on the display directly to select it.
DUPLEX key ( Page 61)
Use this key to make 2-sided copies from 2-
sided (or book) or 1-sided originals. You can
also make 1-sided copies from 2-sided
originals.
(*3) Displayed only when the optional auto
duplexer is installed.
SORTER key ( Page 111)
Use this key to select the sort, group and
stapling modes.
