10. THICK PAPER COPYING

By temporarily enhancing the fusing performance of the copier, you can make copies on thick
sheets of paper (81~130 g/m
copying mode.

Press the PROGRAM key on the BASIC
panel to display the PROGRAM menu on
the right.

Press the THICK PAPER key.
G The THICK PAPER mode is selected and
shown shaded.

Make copies in the bypass mode.
G For bypass copying, see page 34.
G After copying has finished, the
FUNCTION CLEAR
flashes; if you press the FUNCTION
CLEAR
seconds elapses, this lamp will go out
and the THICK PAPER mode will
automatically be cleared, returning to the
default state.
Notes:
1. The first copy time is slightly longer in this
mode.
2. To take full advantage of this capability, it
is recommended that multiple copies be
made one at a time by pressing the
PRINT
key once for each copy.
