Chapter 2 Preparations

Connect power cords.
Use the specified power cord.
The AC POWER LEDs blink green when the power cord is connected to either one of power supply
units. The AC POWER LEDs on another power supply unit goes on amber.
When the power cords are connected, AC POWER LEDs on both power supply units blink green.
5.
Power on the server.
The AC POWER LEDs go on green.
6.
Confirm, by the STATUS LED or on the POST screen, that there are no errors related to the power
supply units.
Refer to Chapter 2 (5. Troubleshooting) of the Maintenance Guide for details on the error messages.
If the AC POWER LEDs are off, reinstall the power supply units. If the same error message still
appears, contact your service representative.

Tips
To prevent getting away of an AC cord unexpectedly while server working, It's
better to use AC cable tie.

Put in a mounting hole of power supply unit this way.
