NETWORK INFORMATION AND
SCANNING
About the network
Your set-top box automatically scans the network
for channels when you first install it.
After that, if new channels become available on
the Kabel Deutschland network, or some channels
are renamed, deleted or otherwise changed, your
set-top box automatically updates the Channel
List.
Other channels (not part of the Kabel Deutschland
network) may also change from time to time, but
your set-top box will not take account of these
changes unless you perform a Network scan for
channels.
You can scan for channels whenever you want.
Viewing Network Information
From the Service Sub-Menu (see page 34),
highlight 'Network scan' then press OK. The
Network Scan screen displays.
SERVICE SUB-MENU
The items on the screen are:
Last network scan - the date that the last
channel scan was performed;
TV Programme - the number of TV services
stored by the last network scan;
Radio Programme - the number of Radio
services stored by the last network scan;
Signal strength - the strength of the signal
your set-top box is currently receiving;
Signal quality - the quality of the signal your
set-top box is currently receiving;
Network - the network ID number;
Name - the name of the network.
If you do not want to start a network scan, press
the Zurück button.
If you want to start a network scan, see the next
section.
