USING YOUR REMOTE
CONTROL
This page shows the buttons on your remote
control that you need to set up your set-top box.
All the other buttons are described on page 13.
After you have set up your set-top box, you use
your remote control as follows:

DAILY USE

switching on and off;

changing channel;
●
adjusting the volume;
●
displaying the Zapping Window to see

what's on now, next and in the next few
hours;
displaying the Information Window to see

information about a programme;
setting Timers to remind you about
●
programmes showing later;
displaying the EPG (Electronic Programme

Guide) to see what's on for the next few
days;
using the parental control PIN-Code.

OCCASIONAL USE

organising your Favourite Channels;

viewing the Timer List;
●
using the Settings and Service menus and
●
screens to change your set-top box's
settings;
changing the parental control PIN-Code;

updating the software.
