GENERAL ENGINE PROCEDURES
- Fit the thrust washer (8) and the Belleville washer (7) so that the greater
diameter faces outwards.
- Lubricate the lined plates (6) with engine oil.
- Insert first a lined plate (5) then a steel disc (6) and alternate layers until

ending with a lined plate.

- The plate pack contains seven lined plates and six made of steel.

- Fit the pressure plate (4).
- Insert the flanged bushings (2) on the springs (3) and fit the springs on the
pressure plate (4).
- Tighten the screws (1) to torque in a diametrically opposite order.
Refit the other parts that were previously removed as described in the relevant
paragraph.
