4. Make sure that the control linking bar has been
detached (See 2 above). Carefully lift the fascia
upward to clear the upper retaining brackets on the
convection box (See figure 52). Pull the fascia clear
and place carefully aside.
5. Refit in the reverse order. Make sure that the
fascia is properly located over the upper retaining
brackets. See section 12 of this guide for detailed
fitting instructions.

17.5 To replace the control slide unit.

Icon, Eternal, Obsession and Dream models
1. Remove the fascia (See section 17.4).
2. Detach the slide unit by removing two screws securing the plastic slide mechanism to
the rear of the fascia (See figure 53).
Dream, Eternal
and Obsession
(The Eternal, Dream and Obsession fascia are different. Slider control fixing
is similar)
