WARNING
A
The fuel contained in the tank is highly
inflammable.
Flames, cigarettes and other objects emitting
heat, if present during tank removal procedures
or in places where fuel is stored, are a great risk
for the operator.
Always work in well ventilated places.

ISASSEMBLY
• Turn ignition switch to "OFF" "
• Remove the front seat, as described in section E,
subsection 4;
• Loosen and remove "A" retaining screw;
• Remove washer "B";

• Raise tank rear side and, taking it out from behind,
move it aside;
• Disconnect breather pipe "C";
• Disconnect fuel line quick coupling "D";
Put a cloth under quick coupling to collect any
fuel leaking out.
•
Disconnect fuel electric pump and fuel level sensor
power connectors "E".
•
For "USA" versions: disconnect also fuel vapors return
tube "F".
•
Remove tank.
WARNING
Handle tank with care. Do not score or damage
paintwork.
Position tank on a clean surface, with the pump
unit facing upwards.

EASSEMBLY
•
Perform the disassembly procedure in reverse order.
