The regulator "A" is calibrated to maintain battery volt-
age at 14.2÷15.2 Volts.
There is no red charge warning light on the dashboard
associated with this regulator.

EGULATOR CHECKS
Normal workshop tools are generally insufficient for regu-
lator checking, however, listed below are certain opera-
tions that can be carried out in order to detect regulators
that are defective.

HE REGULATOR IS CERTAINLY DEFECTIVE IF
After having isolated it from the rest of the system short
circuits can be detected between ground (aluminium
casing) and any of the output cables.
