grease, interfere with heat ra-
diation from the bulb. Over-
heating and therefore short
service life of the bulbs are
the consequence.
Replacing low-beam and
high-beam bulb
The headlight bulbs

are accessible from
below, through the headlight
surround. There is very little
space inside the housing,
so to facilitate identification
of the bulbs and to avoid
handling problems, the
procedure for changing bulbs
described below includes
removal of the headlight
surround.
Removing headlight sur-
round (

Remove rubber cap 1.
Disengage spring clip 2
from the fastening and
swing it up.
Pull low-beam and high-
beam bulb 3 out of head-
light housing.
Replace defective bulb.
Bulb for low-beam and
high-beam headlight
H4 / 12 V / 55 W / 60 W
Insert bulb 3 into headlight
housing.
Close and lock spring
strap 2.
