About Unicable

The HDTV receiver allows for changing the
receiving mode to the unicable standard. This
makes it possible to connect several inde-
pendent receivers (up to 12 - depending on the
used system) to only one main line.
For this, an own IF channel and a correspond-
ing frequency should be set for each receiver
via the settings menu.
Allocation of channels and frequencies de-
pends on the used LNBs and/or multi-
switches.
The data sheet and the technical documenta-
tion of your LNB and/or multi-switch include an
allocation table similar to the following table.

Operation in a Unicable System

 Enter the frequencies of your
receiving system into the last
column of the table so that all
relevant information is quickly
available. Rule of thumb:
highest frequency  shortest
cable path.
