MAINTENANCE  
 
6.1.             I ndication   o f   F ault   C onditions  
If   a   f ault   c ondition   a ppears   d uring   t he   o peration   o f   t he   a mplifier,   t he   s afety   c ircuits   o f   O M2000+   w ill  
react.  There  are  several  warning  or  fault  messages  possible  to  appear  on  the  display,  when  some  of  
the   protection   will   be   activated.   The   OM2000+   power   amplifier   can   report   one   of   the   following  
messages:

Most   o f   s afety   c ircuits   a re   p reset   f or   t wo   l evels   o f   e xceedances.   F irst   l evel   i s   a   w arning   l evel.   I n   s uch   a  
case  a  warning  message  appears  on  the  display,  fault  LED  will  flash,  but  power  amplifier  will  stay  in  
normal   o peration.   S ee   t he   t able   b elow   f or   w arning   a nd   f ault   c onditions.  
 
 
When   a   f ault   c ondition   a ppears   d uring   t he   t uning   o r   o peration   o f   t he   a mplifier,   t he   s afety   c ircuits   w ill  
block   t ransmitting   a nd   F AULT   L ED   s tarts   b linking.   T he   a mplifier   s tays   i n   O PER   m ode.   A fter   a pprox.   1  
sec   the   control   circuits   will   automatically   switch   the   amplifier   back   to   the   transmitting   mode.   If  
problem   p ersists,   s afety   c ircuit   w ill   r eact   a gain.  
 
 
If  the  fault  will  repeat  3  times  during  10  seconds,  the  safety  circuits  will  turn  the  amplifier  to  STBY  
mode.   F AULT   L ED   s tays   O N.   T o   c ancel   f ault   s tatus,   p ress   R ESET   s hortly.   P ower   a mplifier   w ill   s tay   i n  
STBY   m ode.  
 
All  the  warning  and  fault  messages  are  stored  in  the  memory.  You  can  display   particularly  warning  
messages  and  particularly  error  messages.  See  the  Service  menu  in  the  5.2.3.,  how  to  select  service  
display.  All  of  messages  are  stored  and  displayed  as  a   n umbers  or  letters  as  indicated  in  this  chapter  
(1  -­‐  9;  A  -­‐  F).  They  are  stored  one  by  one  to  the  memory.  You  can  see  them  on  the  display  in  three  
lines,  on  every  second  display  position  (maximum  10  per  row,  maximum  30  messages  for  warnings  
and  30  messages  for  errors).  If  memory  is  full,  every  new  message  will  delete  oldest  one  and  move
