To   s tart   t he   s econd   m ethod   o f   f ine   t uning,   p ress   S 2   ( TUNE)   b utton   i n   O PER   m ode.  
Apply  input  power  according  tune  table  (or  lower)  for  selected  band  and  press  PTT.  Use  TUNE  knob  
to   g et   m aximum   o utput   p ower.   U se   L OAD   k nob   t o   g et   I s     g raph   i ndicator   w ithin   t he   b oundaries.  
 
After   p roper   f ine   t uning   r elease   P TT   a nd   p ress   S TOP   b utton.   P A   i s   n ow   p repared   f or   o peration.  
 
After   this   procedure   the   amplifier   is   tuned   correctly   and   ready   to   give   2000   W   (1500   W)   output  
power   i n   a ll   o peration   m odes.   A t   o ptimal   t uning   a nd   f ull   o utput   p ower   a   p ositive   m ax.   5 0mA   c urrent  
goes   t hrough   t he   s econd   g rid.    
If  the  amplifier  demonstrate  any  malfunctions  during  tuning  or  it  does  not  behave  in  accordance  
witch   t he   d escription,   i nterrupt   t he   t uning   p rocedure   i mmediately   a nd   c heck   t he   a mplifier!   B e   s ure  
not  to  do  any  mistakes  in  choosing  bands  or  TUNE/LOAD  values!  Be  sure  that  VSWR  is  not  higher  
than   2 :1   a nd   i nput   p ower   i s   L OW!  
After   e xcluding   p ossible   h uman   m istakes   y ou   w ill   b e   a ble   t o   w ork   f or   l ong   t ime   w ith   t his   a mplifier!  
 
PA   is   in   the   operation   mode.   After   TUNE  
button   (S2)   was   pressed,   it   changes   its  
function.     N ow   S TOP   i s   b linking.  
Do   n ot   p ress   S TOP   b utton   y et!  
 
 
Display   s hows   p roperly   t uned   P A.  
TUNE   indicator   is   in   the   middle,   Screen  
current   i s   h igher,   b ut   s till   i nside   t he   l imits.  
 
 
 
View   on   the   properly   tuned   PA.   Analog  
wattmeter   shows   forwarded   and   reflected  
power.
