1. Click Windows Start, point to
Settings and click Control Panel.
2. Double-click the Winmodem icon.
3. Click the Uninstall button to
remove the modem.
4. Click Yes to uninstall the modem.
5. Click Yes to restart the computer
now.
6. When your computer is shut down,
turn it off.
7. Unplug the computer's power cord
from the computer.
8. Remove the computer's cover.
9. Remove the modem from its
expansion slot.
10. Plug your computer's power cord
back into the computer.
