Terminal Configuration Process

Setting up and initializing the PDT 7200 requires performing one or more of a series of
procedures listed below.
• Creating the applications — refer to the Series 7000 System Software Manual (p/
n 70-36860-xx) included with the SDK for more information
• Setting up the terminal's operating system files (covered in
Configuration: Editing the Configuration
• Editing the DOS configuration files
• Editing the network configuration files
• Building the hex image via TCM (covered in
Building and Sending the Hex
• Creating the hex image
• Downloading the Flash disk image(s)
• Loading a RAM disk (covered in
