Basic setting of the needle drive unit

Requirement
When the needle is at b.d.c. and lug 1 is blocked, the needle should be in the centre of the
needle hole as seen crosswise to the direction of sewing.

● Bring the needle bar to b.d.c.
● Block lug 1 ( adjustment pin 2, part no. 61-111 641-46 ).
● Adjust the needle bar 3 ( screw 4 ) according to the requirement.
● Remove adjustment pin 2.
