Side thread tension and slack thread regulator

Requirement
Thread check spring 5 should be
1. flush with the top edge of bar 6 and
2. rise slightly from its position rest when the thread loop through the hook is at its largest.

● Thread the needle thread.
● Adjust the thread tension unit 1 ( grub screw 2 ) according to requirement 1.
● Adjust the slack thread regulator 3 ( screws 4 ) according to requirement 2.
The stroke of thread check spring 5 and the position of slack thread regulator 3
are dependent on the material and must be adjusted in accordance with the
sewing results.
