HECKS AND INSPECTIONS HECKS AND INSPECTIONS
Checks to be carried out in the event of ignition faults
and/or missed sparking.
Check the spark plug (clean with a metal brush. Remove all
incrustations. Blow with an air jet and replace if necessary).
Without removing the stator, perform the inspections given
below.

HECKING THE PICK HECKING THE PICK UP
Specification
1 Red/white cable
After a visual inspection of the electrical connections, carry
out measurements on the recharge coil, on the pick-up (see
table), and continuity measurements using the special tes-
ter.
If faults are identified through the above inspections, proceed
by replacing the stator, otherwise replace the ECU. Bear in
mind that the ECU connections must only be detached when
the engine is not running.
