- Using a 34 mm socket wrench, remove the clutch locknut.
- Loosen the central screw, unloading the spring of the driven
pulley assembly.
- Separate the components.

NSPECTING THE CLUTCH
- Check the thickness of the clutch mass friction material.
- The masses must exhibit no traces of lubricants; in that
case, check the driven pulley unit seals.
N.B.
UPON RUNNING-IN, THE MASSES MUST EXHIBIT A CEN-
TRAL CONTACT SURFACE AND MUST NOT BE DIFFERENT
FROM ONE ANOTHER.
DIFFERENT CONDITIONS MAY CAUSE THE CLUTCH TEA-
RING.
CAUTION
DO NOT OPEN THE MASSES USING TOOLS TO PREVENT A
VARIATION IN THE RETURN SPRING LOAD.
