ged
Choke failure

Engine flooding
Wrong fuel specifications
Spark plug defective, or electrode gap inco-
rrect
Intake duct cracked or not sealing
Cleaner-carburettor union damaged

WORK
Adjust slow running speed and C.O. if necessary
Check springs/weight of friction and clutch housing
pan
Refit filter box. Replace if it is damaged

Remove, wash in solvent and dry with compressed air
Replace pump or tubing
Check: electrical connections, circuit continuity, me-
chanical sliding and power supply
Check the battery charge condition. If the battery shows
signs of sulfation, replace it. Before installing the new
battery, charge it for eight hours with a current corres-
ponding to 1/10 of the capacity of the battery.
Open the throttle wide and try to start the engine. If
the engine does not start, remove the spark plug, run
the engine with throttle open making sure the cap is
connected to the spark plug and the spark plug is ear-
thed, far from the hole. Fit a dry spark plug and start
the engine.
Drain the fuel and then refuel
Clean; adjust electrode gap or replace, always using
recommended spark plugs. Please keep in mind that
most engine problems result from the use of inappro-
priate spark plugs
Replace intake duct and check its sealing with crank-
case and carburettor
