PLITTING THE CRANKCASE HALVES
Remove the eight crankcase fasteners.
Install the special plate on the flywheel-side half crankcase
and proceed by splitting the two halves.

- Install the special tool onto the transmission-side half-
crankcase using four M6 screws of adequate length.
- Remove the crankshaft from the transmission side half-
crankcase.

EMOVING THE CRANKSHAFT BEARINGS
The bearings may remain attached either to half- crankcase
or crankshaft, indifferently.
- Using the special tool provided, remove only the bearings
attached to the engine.
N.B.
THE HALF RINGS MUST BE FITTED ONTO THE BEARINGS
WITH THE AID OF A MALLET.
