Chapter 3: Using the Operator Panel
When you see this light...
The printer power is on.
The printer is online and ready to print.
The following conditions cause the Ready light to turn off:
Pressing Start/Stop
Detecting an end-of-form (EOF)
Detecting a paper jam
Detecting a cover open
Detecting a hardware error
Detecting a Power-On Self Test (POST) failure.
The printer is offline.
Any of the following conditions may have occurred:
Detecting an end-of-form (EOF)
Detecting a paper jam
Detecting a cover open
Detecting a hardware error
Detecting a data transmission error
Detecting an interface mode error
Detecting a Power-On Self Test (POST) failure.
AutoGap is on. AutoGap automatically adjusts the printer
according to the thickness of the paper you are using.
The Tractor 2 Feeder is selected. (The Tractor 2 Feeder option must
be installed.)
