User Guide

Backup/Restore: This page is used to create a backup of the XAP-1030 conﬁ gura-

tion and Restore the conﬁ guration at a later time if desired. The backup ﬁ le can also

be used to set up multiple Luxul Access Points using the same conﬁ guration. Click

Backup to save the current conﬁ guration settings as a ﬁ le. To restore those settings,

click Browse and select the backup ﬁ le on your Computer, and then click Restore.

CAUTION: It can take several minutes to complete the restoration.

To avoid errors during the restoration, do not power off the XAP-1030

or computer being used. At the end of restoration, the XAP-1030

will restart.

5.6 QoS

QoS: The XAP-1030 is automatically conﬁ gured to take advantage of Wireless

Multi-Media (WMM) extensions. This means that any packets from devices tagged

with WMM will be given top priority. There are 4 priority levels, from highest to

lowest:

1. Voice

2. Video

3. Background

4. Best Effort
