Install Included Rubber Feet in the Impressions in the bottom of the XAP-1030
4.4.3 Antenna Installation and Alignment
The XAP-1030 includes a 5dBi omni-directional antenna. To install the antenna,
simply align the connectors and turn it clock-wise until it is fi rmly attached. DO
NOT over tighten.
If the Omni Antenna is leaning, the pattern produced by it will lean as well
NOTE: Regardless of how the XAP-1030 is mounted, be sure to orient
the antenna vertically as demonstrated in the diagrams above.

4.4.4 Connecting the Ethernet Cable

With the XAP-1030 properly mounted and the Antenna installed, you can now plug
the Ethernet Cable into the RJ-45 connector.
NOTE: Category-5, super Category-5 or Category-6 unshielded twisted pair
(CAT5/CAT5e/CAT6 UTP) cables should be used. For best results, it
is recommended that CAT5e or CAT6 shielded twisted pair be used
to ensure stable data transmission at highest data rates.
