When setting the AP in Client Mode you will enter the Name (SSID) of the Network
it will connect to, the Security Mode that Network uses and the Passphrase needed
to connect. Then simply click Save and Reboot to apply the changes, the Luxul AP
will now connect as a client device.
NOTE: When connected as a client device the AP will hide all MAC
addresses behind it' s own MAC Address
5.4.2 Dedicated Bridge Mode
Bridge Root: Sets the Bridge AP to root mode, this is the connection to the main
network usually with Internet feed
When setting the AP in Root Bridge Mode the MAC address of the Root is dis-
played you will need this for the Bridge Client device(s). Write down the Root
Bridge' s MAC address. Now confi gure the name of the Bridge SSID, Security Mode
and Passphrase. Then simply click Save and then Reboot to apply the changes, the
Luxul AP will now start running in Bridge Root mode allowing Bridge Client devices
to connect.
NOTE: Bridge mode allows all device MAC addressing to be preserved
and will not allow for client device connections only Bridge
Clients will be able to connect.
Bridge Client: Sets the Bridge AP to client mode this will connect to a Root AP
