The left side of the Content Configuration screen is the working area where the received program details may
be entered. The following provides a brief description of each of the configuration items:
1. Program ID: Enter the program ID of the program you wish to receive. This field can be auto-
populated by double clicking the program in the Program Guide
2. Destination: Use this edit box to enter the multicast IP address and port number.
3. TTL: Use this edit box to enter the Time to Live (TTL) for the multicast IP packets. The TTL value in
the IP header will be replaced with this entry.
4. Forward Teletext: Selecting this checkbox will forward any Teletex PID's to the multicast stream.
5. Audio – Forward All: Selecting this checkbox will forward all Audio PID's to the multicast stream. If
this box is not checked, then the audio PID's must be manually added to the stream. This enables
the operator to select which audio stream(s) are forwarded. This feature is particularly useful for
situations where multiple audio PID's are included within the stream, but only one is needed to be
forwarded with the single program transport stream.
6. PID - Add: Use this edit box to manually add Audio PID's to the multicast transport stream.
7. Delete PID's: Use this edit box to remove Audio PID's from the multicast transport stream.
8. Clear List: Select this button to clear the Audio PID list.
9. SI Table forwarding: Use the SI Table forwarding checkboxes to select which SI table PID's are
forwarded with the multicast transport stream.
a. SDT: Use this checkbox to include the Service Description Table (PID 0x0011) in the
multicast transport stream.
b. NIT: Use this checkbox to include the Network Information Table (PID 0x0010) in the
multicast transport stream.
c. TDT: Use this checkbox to include the Time and Date Table (PID 0x0014) in the multicast
transport stream.
d. CAT: Use this checkbox to include the Conditional Access Table (PID 0x0001) in the
multicast transport stream.
e. Full PMT: Use this checkbox to pass the received PMT PID in the multicast transport stream.
In this case, the S300 will not regenerate the PMT but will instead pass the full received PMT.
f.
Remove CA Descriptors: Use this checkbox to remove the CA Descriptors from the
multicast transport stream.
10. Add video Program: After configuring your multicast program, select this button to apply the
configuration to the S300.

the selected button.
