This chapter mainly introduces the conﬁ guration and application method of the

onboard LSI SAS 1068E controller of IR model; the onboard SAS controller of IR

model provides default support of RAID0, RAID1, RAID1E. If the motherboard of the

server you purchased does not integrate SAS controller, you can skip this chapter.

The pictures of this chapter are only for reference and the version of information

in the picture may be inconsistent with the actual version.

1. The screen will display the following prompt during the booting process of the

system:

Press Ctrl-C to Start LSI Corp Conﬁ guration Utility...

2. At this point, press <Ctrl> <C> keys to enter SAS controller setting interface.

Press key

<↑><↓><←><→> Move the cursor in different menus.

[Enter]

<Esc>

<F1>/Shift>-<1>

I. Adapter Properties Menu

After entering the SAS BIOS main interface, such information as the name of the

SAS controller and Firmware, etc. will be displayed; meanwhile, the Boot order （ Boot

order option ） of SAS controller can also be set in the interface. Select the controller

and then press the [Enter] to enter the interface as shown below, and the system dis-

plays the name of the SAS controller, PCI slot, PCT address and Firmware edition, etc.,

most of which are only for display but not for setting.

Change the content of selected value.

Select submenu and display items of selected menu.

Exit the menu or return to the last menu from the submenu.

Enter the help menu.
