DNS (Dynamic Name Servers) is supported and therefore the unit can be assigned a name. This

Step  Alarms
The SD supports 16 normally open/closed tamper proof alarm inputs via the back panel, or one
Global keyswitch input with camera specific inputs configurable as entry/exit alarms, The alarms
support tamper proof detection using 1k in line and 5K end of line resistance. The SD detects
short circuit, open circuit and contact closure. This functionality is part of the advanced alarms
supported on NetVu Connected products and included features required for Central Monitoring and
is compatible with the British Standard BS8418.
