RGB
Red, Green, and Blue. These are the colors of the three channels that
make up the scanned image. Monitors use red, green, and blue
phosphors to create the image you see on the screen.
SCSI (Ultra SCSI)
Ultra SCSI (Fast-20) is one variation of the SCSI-3 standards now being
promoted by ANSI (American National Standards Institute). SCSI-3 refer
to many variations including a parallel interface.
SHADOWS
The dark areas of an image.
TIFF
Tagged Image File Format (TIFF) files contain bit-mapped data. In
addition to being a widely supported format, TIFF is able to handle the
color palette needed for professional-quality images and graphics.
WINDOWS

BMP
(Windows only) The BMP graphic file format is for bit-mapped images.
BMP images are supported by the Paint accessory and can easily be
opened on most PCs running Windows.
