Ensure the correct type of blade and tooth pitch of saw blade is used for the material being cut. Saw blades
must always be sharp and in good condition. Only replacement saw blades approved for use on Power Fist Air
Saws must be used.
Be aware that saw blades could break or shatter without warning even when used correctly. When fitting a saw
blade, it must be correctly clamped into the saw blade mounting. The saw rest must be positioned against the
work piece before sawing is started.
Fillings and sparks created during the sawing process present a significant hazard. Do not have any
combustible material near the operation of the Air Saw.
Disconnect the air line before inspecting or changing saw blades. After use, ensure the saw blade has
completely stopped before putting the Air Saw down. Always place the Air Saw in a safe and stable position
when the work has been completed or the saw has been temporarily put to rest. To avoid inadvertent operation
never place the tool anywhere it may be knocked down or moved accidentally, either directly or indirectly by the
air hose connection. Once the tools has been finished with, set the knurled safety knob to the off position and
disconnect the air line. Always use self-sealing quick couplings on the end of your hose. Serious damage and
personal injury may occur from whipping of open-ended air lines.
Never use the air tool in potentially explosive conditions or atmospheres. Be aware that the air tool is metallic
and will conduct electricity. Always make sure that it never comes into contact with any electrical source.

carefully slacken the blade-retaining clamp and remove the blade. When fitting a blade, ensure that the blade
is correctly located into the retaining clamp before tightening the hex screw. The hex screw must be tight but

has a fault, stop it at once and contact Princess Auto helpline for assistance.
Oil the Air Saw daily. Insert 6 droplets per day through the air inlet of the Air Speed Saw. It is necessary to
invert the Air Saw to ensure that the oil reaches the moving parts inside. Lubrication may only be done with
the air hose disconnected unless it is connected to a Power Fist air filter / regulator / lubricator. After lubrication
allow the oil to penetrate the moving parts of the Air Speed Saw for approximately 2 hours before
reconnecting to the air line.
Warning
Excess oil will be sprayed from the air tool exhaust port during the initial
operation of the tool after lubrication. do not breathe this spray and remove
surplus oil from the air tool after shutting off with a suitable cloth.
Failure to correctly lubricate air tools will shorten their working life.
