ADJUSTING DRIVE CHAIN SLACK

To adjust chain slack, loosen the wheel fixing nut, (B), lock-
nut (C) and turn adjusting screw (V). After adjusting, tight-
en the locknut, (C), and bolt, (B).
This operation must be performed on both
sides of the rear fork; adjustment must be
identical on both sides; to obtain this condi-
tion, refer to scale "G" located on the fork.
An excessively taut chain will put the engine
and drive components under excessive
strain; maintain chain tightness within the
specified limits.
Whilst carrying out these adjustments, hold
the vehicle firmly in place, otherwise it will
fall over.

ADJUSTING THE BEAM

To adjust the beam, act on screw (V) located under the
headlight; turn clockwise to lower and counter-clockwise
to raise.
