COOLING SYSTEM

• Remove cap (T).
• The coolant level must be checked on a cold engine
since the level varies with engine temperature. The
coolant should be between the maximum "Mx" (top end
of the radiator) and minimum level "Mn" (start of bat-
tery cells) marks.
• If the level is low, add coolant or distilled water until the
specified level is reached.
• Refit the cap.
Salt or hard water is dangerous for the en-
gine. If you do not have any coolant you can
use distilled water or fresh water. In winter it
is necessary to correct the proportion of
coolant and water in order to avoid freezing
or possible damage.

AIR FILTER

DISASSEMBLY

• Remove the seat, (S), by slackening screw (V).
• Remove the general protection fuse.
• Remove battery (B) by removing the elastic band and
disconnecting the terminals.
• Remove partition (P) to access screw (R).
• Remove filter (F) by slackening the two fixing screws,
(R).
The air filter element must be cleaned at the intervals spec-
ified. Clean the air filter more frequently if you are riding in
unusually wet or dusty areas.
Make sure the air filter element is properly
seated in the air filter case.
The engine should never be operated with-
out the air filter element, otherwise the pis-
ton and/or cylinder may become excessive-
ly worn.
