1. condition of spark plug
- Check condition of spark plug.
- See engine Workshop Manual.
- Not compliant: replace spark plug.

2. Spark plug cap resistance
- remove spark plug cap.
- NOTE: when removing spark plug cap, do not pull.
- to remove
- to connect
- Before connecting the spark plug cap, check the hV cable and cut off a piece of approximately  mm.
- Connect Tester (KΩ) to spark plug cap, as follows:
- terminal (+) of tester
- terminal (-) of tester
- Spark plug cap resistance: 5 KΩ at 20°c.
- Not compliant: replace spark plug cap.
