6. Appear a list of the connected SCSI devices.
(When ST34371W made by SEAGATE is connected to
ID=1)
If the devices actually connected are at variance
with what is listed, a wrong connection, SCSI ID set-
ting error, terminal setting error or defective hard
disk may be to blame. Press [ESC] key to exit.
First, check the connections and the SCSI ID and
terminal settings. If the message remains, a defec-
tive hard disk may be to blame.
If what is listed matches with the devices actually
connected, use the arrow keys to move the cursor,
select the hard disk to be checked, and press
[Enter] key.
7. Appear the following menu.
Move the cursor, select "Verify Disk Media," and
press [Enter] key.
If the "Unexpected SCSI Command Failure" message
is displayed, a SCSI ID setting error, terminal setting
error or defective hard disk may be to blame. Press
[ESC] key to exit.
First, check the SCSI ID and terminal settings, etc.
If the message remains, a defective hard disk may
be to blame. Select "Support for Ultra SCSI Speed",
press [Enter] key.

8. Appear the following confirmation message.
Move the cursor, select Yes, and press [Enter] key.
Disk check now commences.
If this check discovers trouble in the disk media, a
message prompting the user to proceed with re-allo-
cation appears. When "Yes" is selected in response
to this message, the defective blocks can no longer
be used, and new blocks are re-allocated.
9. Finish these steps, appear the following message.
10. Press [ESC] key.
If other disks are connected, check them all using
the same method.
Once all the disks have been checked, press [ESC]
key 2 times.
11. Select channel B and change same as channel A.
12. Finish setting for channel B(finish Item 10), press
[ESC] key.
Appear message of finish.
Select "Yes", and press [Enter] key.
13. Appear "Please press any key to reboot", press
any key
Setting is finish and auto reboot.
