REMOTE SYSTEM ACCESS

Direct Inward System Access (DISA)

DISA (Direct Inward System Access) allows remote users to gain access to the system's
resources (remote users may be required to enter an Authorization Code). The system will
recognize remote user dialed inputs (call other stations, place calls over CO/IP lines,
review voice mails, etc).
To access the system's resources from an external party
1. Place call to DISA facility of the system.
2. At receipt of dial tone/announcement, dial as desired. If DND Warning tone is
received, enter an Authorization Code to receive dial tone.

Mobile Phone Extension

When away from your desk or office you can place and receive SUMMIT IP calls on a
registered mobile phone. You may need to activate the Mobile Phone Extension feature and
assign the Mobile Phone number.
This feature is only effective with an ISDN CO line.
To register a mobile phone number:
1. Press the TRANS/PGM button,
2. Dial 37,
3. Dial the mobile phone number,
4. 1 to activate, 0 to deactivate,
5. Press the HOLD/SAVE button.
To activate a registered mobile phone from the user's station:
1. Press the TRANS/PGM button,
2. Dial 38,
3. Select Mobile Index 1 or 2,
4. Dial the mobile phone number with CO Access code,
5. Press the HOLD/SAVE button.
